Wide PV input range (600Vdc-260Vdc) 100A MPPT SCC.
Intelligent functionality enables utility & solar input prioritization.
Monitor, troubleshoot, or communication with USB/RS232.
System configures quickly into compact, wall-mounted system.
Enhance MPPT solar charge controller up to 3000 WATTS.
Efficiently works without battery.
In most off-grid solar systems, Hinvert inverter/charger integrated with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charge controller is the central energy management unit. Its primary job is to supply ‘pure sine wave’ AC power, and it must be able to meet the power requirements of the appliances under all conditions. In addition, the inverter/charger regulates the battery charging and monitors energy flow from solar array or backup generators.
Appliances in a home operate on AC current. Solar array generates DC current. A solar charge controller regulates DC power from solar arrays to charge the batteries. Batteries function as the “bank” where excess renewable energy is deposited and then later withdrawn when needed. An inverter is required to convert DC current from the renewable source to usable AC current for appliance and other home powering needs.
Because there is variability in the renewable source, a generator is often incorporated into the system to charge batteries when needed. As the output of most generators is AC, an AC charger is needed to convert AC to DC for the purpose of charging the batteries. Essentially, a Hinvert Power off-grid solar inverter will regulate PV generation, convert power from DC to AC for consumption and AC to DC for charging.
